NFRC ratings consider the entire system – including frame, glazing, spacers, seals, and thermal breaks – while measuring key performance metrics including U-value, Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC), and Visible Light Transmittance (VLT).

These values are established through detailed thermal modelling of our fenestration systems, carried out in accordance with NFRC protocols and independently reviewed by an NFRC-licensed certification body.

This information is then used by architects, energy consultants and building code officials to specify, assess or verify the energy efficiency of a building.
